- 4.2 Safety and integrity: detect spam, fraud, unauthorized access, harmful conduct, policy violations, and child-safety risks; review reports; and enforce our terms.
- 4.3 Personalization: recommend content, rooms, users, or features based on activity, preferences, and location where permitted. Available controls may be provided in the App.
- 4.4 Analytics and improvement: measure use, diagnose errors and crashes, test features, and improve performance and user experience.
- 4.5 Communications: send account, transaction, security, moderation, support, policy, and service messages, as well as optional promotional messages where permitted.
- 4.6 Legal compliance: meet legal obligations, respond to valid legal process, protect rights and safety, and maintain required records.
If we introduce a materially different purpose or collect unexpected sensitive data, we will provide any additional prominent disclosure and request affirmative consent required by applicable law or Google Play policy before collection.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and Service may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, app-instance identifiers, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, measure performance, diagnose problems, and provide or personalize features.
Browser and device settings may allow you to limit cookies, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies. Disabling them may affect some functions.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not disclose personal data except as described below and do not permit service providers to use it for purposes unrelated to providing services to us.
- 6.1 Other users and the public: profile information, live-room activity, posts, comments, rankings, gifts, or other content may be visible according to the feature and your settings.
- 6.2 Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, communications, content moderation, analytics, security, anti-fraud, customer support, payment, and live-streaming providers may process data on our behalf.
- 6.3 Affiliates: we may share data with affiliates where necessary to operate, secure, and support the Service, subject to this Policy.
- 6.4 Legal and safety disclosures: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate violations, prevent harm, protect rights or safety, or report suspected child exploitation.
- 6.5 Business transfers: data may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.
- 6.6 With your direction or consent: we may share information when you request it or provide valid consent.
Third-party SDKs and service providers may collect or process data needed for their functions. VGC DIGITALS is responsible for accurately reflecting applicable SDK practices in Google Play’s Data safety section.
7. Retention, International Transfers, and Security
7.1 Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by data category and context. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, subject to limited backup cycles and lawful retention requirements.
7.2 International Processing
Because the Service may operate internationally, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual, organizational, or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.
7.3 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls, limited authorization, monitoring, and encryption in transit using HTTPS or comparable modern cryptography. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.4 Security Incidents
If a personal-data incident occurs, we will investigate, mitigate harm, and notify affected users or authorities when required by applicable law.
8. Your Choices, Rights, and Account Deletion
8.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or lodge a complaint with a regulator. You may update available profile and privacy settings in the App or contact support@meesolive.com.
8.2 Permission and Communication Choices
You may withdraw device permissions through your operating-system settings and manage available privacy, location, nearby-user, push, and communication settings in the App. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
8.3 Account and Associated Data Deletion
You may request permanent account deletion through either channel:
- In the App: go to My > Settings > Account & Security > Account Cancellation and follow the instructions.
- Outside the App: use this publicly accessible section of our website and email support@meesolive.com with the subject “Meeso Account Deletion Request.” Include enough account information for us to locate and verify the account, but do not send your password.
After verification, we will permanently delete the account and associated personal data rather than merely deactivate or freeze it, except for data we must retain for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal and regulatory compliance. Any retained data will be limited, protected, and deleted when the applicable retention obligation ends.
9. Minors and Child Safety
9.1 Age Eligibility and Minors’ Data
Meeso is not intended for children under 14, and users under 14 may not create or use an account. Users must also meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law. If we learn that we collected personal data from a child who is not permitted to use the Service, we will take reasonable steps to delete it and restrict the account.
A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child has provided personal data contrary to this Policy may contact support@meesolive.com.
9.2 Child Safety Standards and Anti-CSAE Policy
Meeso – Live & Voice Party, developed by VGC DIGITALS, maintains zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
- Strict prohibition: content, communication, or behavior that depicts, promotes, facilitates, solicits, stores, shares, or encourages CSAE or CSAM is strictly prohibited.
- Enforcement: violating content may be removed immediately. Accounts involved in CSAE or CSAM activity are subject to immediate and permanent termination, and associated devices or IP addresses may be blocked where appropriate and legally permitted.
- Reporting to authorities: apparent CSAM or illegal child exploitation is reported in accordance with applicable law to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law-enforcement authorities.
- User reporting: users can report suspicious content, accounts, messages, live streams, or voice-room behavior through Meeso’s in-app reporting tools.
- Dedicated contact: urgent child-safety reports may be sent to childsafety@meesolive.com. We prioritize child-safety reports and aim to review them within 24 hours.
Do not download, save, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM when reporting it. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement without delay.
Our standalone public standards are available at https://meesolive.com/policy/child_safety_policy.html.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, data practices, laws, or safety requirements. We will post the revised Policy and update the “Last Updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice in the App, by email, or through another appropriate channel before a material change takes effect.
